Winifred Meeks GoMovies Review

Winifred Meeks is not just a movie, it is life as it is, without embellishment, Jason Figgis perfectly revealed the harsh, sometimes funny, but most importantly, real reality.

The movie was released in 2021, its main advantage is a really solidly cobbled together plot, in which the main characters are correctly revealed.

I don`t understand whether Horror has outlived its usefulness, or whether the writers have forgotten how to write interesting ornate stories, this movie reminded me of a bunch of others, the director did not introduce anything fundamentally new.

The movie turned out to be very organic, there is no other detail in it, perfectly balanced: dynamics, tension, musical accompaniment, 88 minutes flew by in one breath.

Jason Figgis is a fine fellow, he didn’t place all his bets on the plot, but concentrated on spectacular artistic techniques: metaphorical and technical, which is why the movie turned out to be so catchy.

The characters are interesting and not stereotyped, but the Bill Fellows, Darren Travers, Gerry Hughes, Jason Figgis, John West, Julie Abbott, Lara Belmont, Sally George, Steven Jess, who brought them to life, pumped up a little, because they did not always play their roles reliably, apparently, they could not fully feel their heroes.
