True to the Game 2: Gena’s Story GoMovies Review
The movie True to the Game 2: Gena’s Story is a vivid confirmation of the fact that `it is not so important what you tell, it is important how you do it`.
This movie became the most memorable of those that I watched in 2020, because the ending, in my opinion, although correct, but at the same time very unexpected, at least it will not leave anyone indifferent.
After finishing watching this movie, I came to the conclusion that for the broadcasting of movies in the genre of Drama, Thriller, some storylines do not fit at all in the period of time that is allotted to them, and simply require some kind of continuation and development.
Throughout the 93 minutes, I had the feeling that not today, but tomorrow, I will definitely meet them in the nearest supermarket or park.
Despite the dryish script in places, Jamal Hill created a good movie: the atmosphere is perfectly conveyed, everything in the frame looks natural, each actor is in his place.
The movie keeps tight grip on until the final credits, despite the fact that Andra Fuller, Faith Evans, Rotimi, Vivica A. Fox performed their roles rather weakly, probably Stanislavsky himself would have told them: `I don’t believe`.
