The Wizard of Oz GoMovies Review

The Wizard of Oz contains all the components of a successful movie: a twisted plot that unfolds with the help of unexpected and atypical twists, memorable characters and good actors: Bert Lahr, Billie Burke, Charley Grapewin, Clara Blandick, Frank Morgan, Jack Haley, Jerry Maren, Judy Garland, Margaret Hamilton, Parnell St. Aubin, Pat Walshe, Ray Bolger, Terry, The Singer Midgets.

A brilliant script that was something out of the ordinary for 1939, coupled with skillful directorial work, turned this movie into an example of good cinematography.

I don`t understand whether has outlived its usefulness, or whether the writers have forgotten how to write interesting ornate stories, this movie reminded me of a bunch of others, the director did not introduce anything fundamentally new.

In this movie, the concepts of `good` and `evil` are well intertwined, 102 min minutes fly by unnoticed, but after watching, there is a feeling of some kind of understatement.

To my surprise, Victor Fleming managed to very succinctly and gracefully tell a seemingly ordinary story, in which each character deserves special attention.

Without a good acting role, watching The Wizard of Oz would have been simply unbearable, Bert Lahr, Billie Burke, Charley Grapewin, Clara Blandick, Frank Morgan, Jack Haley, Jerry Maren, Judy Garland, Margaret Hamilton, Parnell St. Aubin, Pat Walshe, Ray Bolger, Terry, The Singer Midgets managed to convey the characters of the characters so naturalistically that it is almost impossible to tear yourself away from what is happening on the screen.
