Raya and the Last Dragon GoMovies Review

Raya and the Last Dragon contains all the components of a successful movie: a twisted plot that unfolds with the help of unexpected and atypical twists, memorable characters and good actors: Alan Tudyk, Awkwafina, Benedict Wong, Daniel Dae Kim, Gemma Chan, Izaac Wang, Kelly Marie Tran, Lucille Soong, Sandra Oh, Thalia Tran.

A brilliant script that was something out of the ordinary for 2021, coupled with skillful directorial work, turned this movie into an example of good cinematography.

It was the first movie in the genre of Action, Adventure, Animation, Family, Fantasy, after which I had a double impression: on the one hand, it was interesting to watch the characters, and on the other, some of the actors clearly lacked experience.

This movie can be disassembled into quotes, never before in 112 minutes I have not been able to experience such a wide range of emotions, Carlos López Estrada, Don Hall, John Ripa, Paul Briggs just wrapped my soul on a fist.

Carlos López Estrada, Don Hall, John Ripa, Paul Briggs is a fine fellow, he didn’t place all his bets on the plot, but concentrated on spectacular artistic techniques: metaphorical and technical, which is why the movie turned out to be so catchy.

The characters are interesting and not stereotyped, but the Alan Tudyk, Awkwafina, Benedict Wong, Daniel Dae Kim, Gemma Chan, Izaac Wang, Kelly Marie Tran, Lucille Soong, Sandra Oh, Thalia Tran, who brought them to life, pumped up a little, because they did not always play their roles reliably, apparently, they could not fully feel their heroes.
