John Lewis: Good Trouble GoMovies Review

John Lewis: Good Trouble is not just a movie, it is life as it is, without embellishment, Dawn Porter perfectly revealed the harsh, sometimes funny, but most importantly, real reality.

A brilliant script that was something out of the ordinary for 2020, coupled with skillful directorial work, turned this movie into an example of good cinematography.

Every time I come across a new movie in the genre of Documentary, I postpone everything, John Lewis: Good Trouble pleasantly surprised me: a delightful plot that was revealed thanks to an emotional and live performance.

Throughout the 98 minutes, I had the feeling that not today, but tomorrow, I will definitely meet them in the nearest supermarket or park.

Despite the dryish script in places, Dawn Porter created a good movie: the atmosphere is perfectly conveyed, everything in the frame looks natural, each actor is in his place.

Only talented actors are able to bring to life deep, multifaceted characters, this movie was lucky because it starred the real masters of transformation: John Lewis.
