First Cow GoMovies Review

First Cow contains all the components of a successful movie: a twisted plot that unfolds with the help of unexpected and atypical twists, memorable characters and good actors: Alia Shawkat, Ewen Bremner, Gary Farmer, John Keating, John Magaro, Lily Gladstone, Orion Lee, Rene Auberjonois, Scott Shepherd, Toby Jones.

A brilliant script that was something out of the ordinary for 2020, coupled with skillful directorial work, turned this movie into an example of good cinematography.

I don`t understand whether Drama, History has outlived its usefulness, or whether the writers have forgotten how to write interesting ornate stories, this movie reminded me of a bunch of others, the director did not introduce anything fundamentally new.

The movie turned out to be very organic, there is no other detail in it, perfectly balanced: dynamics, tension, musical accompaniment, 121 minutes flew by in one breath.

Chris Carroll, Kelly Reichardt created the very movie, after watching which you want to erase your memory in order to watch it again, and again, like for the first time, feel the whole range of vivid emotions.

The characters are interesting and not stereotyped, but the Alia Shawkat, Ewen Bremner, Gary Farmer, John Keating, John Magaro, Lily Gladstone, Orion Lee, Rene Auberjonois, Scott Shepherd, Toby Jones, who brought them to life, pumped up a little, because they did not always play their roles reliably, apparently, they could not fully feel their heroes.
